Guitars and voices - Guitarras y voces

Ok ladies and gentlemen that's it.

We have finished the first round of the recording of our second album. We have recorded guitars, keyboards and voices the past Monday/Tuesday and we are really satisfied with the result. Manuel Cabezalí, as well as Dani Richter, are two incredible professional and we were really comfortable during the whole process. The second round lasts, we are going to do it on May.

Ok chic@s ya esta. Hemos terminado la primera parte de la grabación de nuestro segundo disco. Lunes y Martes hemos estado grabando guitarras, teclados y voz y estamos realmente satisfechos con el resultado. Tanto Manuel Cabezalí como Dani Richter son dos grandísimos profesionales y hemos estado muy a gusto a lo largo de todo el proceso. Ahora queda la segunda parte de la grabación que se realizará en mayo.

We got the bass - Tenemos los bajos

This weekend Enrique went to the studio to record the bass lines.

Before any takes, they had a good cup of coffee to warm up. The first thing they did, was listen to the tracks recorded from the day before. Afterwards, they took a walk around the studio "market" and, between several models, they chose the effect pedals that will give the bass the sound we were looking for.

The takes were great, Dany, Manuel and Enrique make a very good team. With that mutual trust, everything was fast and done approximately in 4 hours. The happy faces in the pictures show what we are talking about.

El pasado fin de semana Enrique estuvo en el estudio para grabar las líneas de bajos. Previo a cualquier trabajo, se tomaron un buen café para despertar el cuerpo.

Lo primero que hicieron fue escuchar las bases grabadas el día anterior. Luego, dieron un paseo por el “mercadillo” del estudio, y entre una buena gama de pedales de distintas distorsiones, eligieron los que darán al bajo al sonido buscado.

Las tomas fueron realmente buenas, y se formo un buen equipo entre Dany, Kike y Manuel, dicha confianza hizo que se avanzara realmente rápido y poder tener todo listo en 4horas Las caras de felicidad de las fotos demuestran de lo que hablamos.

Drums are done folks!

went to El Lado Izquierdo Recording Studio (Christina Rosenvinge, The Cabriolets, Tulsa, Havalina) yesterday. A beautiful and modern recording studio near Pozuelo de Alarcón. Dany Ritcher, the boss overthere, was truly amazing. Pacient, dedicated, passionated and in love with what he does. The perfect sound engineer. 

He setted literally "the" drum set and it was sounding great. I can still feeling that kickdrum in my chest!

All the environment was neat, warm and designed to work very relaxed an so it was.

Our drummer Dani did a great job, and every comment or suggestion of Manuel Cabezalí (Havalina) was helpful as usual.

Ya están las baterías!

Ayer estuvimos en el estudio de grabación El Lado Izquierdo (Christina Rosenvinge, The Cabriolets, Tulsa, Havalina), Elegante y moderno estudio cerca de Pozuelo de Alarcón.
Dany Richter, el jefe allí, es increíble. Paciente, entregado, apasionado y enamorado de lo que hace. el ingeniero de sonido perfecto.

Armamos definitivamente "el" set de batería y dios, como sonaba aquello. Todavia puedo sentir el bombo retumbar en el pecho.

Todo el entorno es minimalista, calido y diseñado para trabajar muy relajados y así fue. Dani, nuestro batería hizo un muy buen trabajo, y todo los comentarios y los consejos de Manuel Cabezalí (Havalina) fueron de gran ayuda como siempre.
